March Favourites 2015

Where does the year go? I swear I was only JUST getting the party poppers out of my hair from New Year’s Eve? Anyway, today we have my monthly favourites for you, enjoy you lovely people.

Lots of Love Lottie Blog Lauren Conrad Style 1

Lots of Love Lottie Blog Lauren Conrad Style 2

How can you not love LC? Especially when she writes a book! I love her style anyway so I was always going to get this book. Even though I’ve had it two years, I still love rereading it every so often, even if it’s just inspiration for me to get out of my pyjamas!

Lots of Love Lottie Blog Cross Necklace

Lots of Love Lottie Blog Cross Necklace 2

I’ve really loved wearing my cross necklace recently. Although we’re not allowed jewelry at school, so I have to wear it under my collar, blah. I had to get it lengthened the other day because I’ve had the necklace since my Christening so the chain didn’t quite fit me anymore!

Lots of Love Lottie Blog Ukulele 1

Lots of Love Lottie Blog Ukelele 2

This is actually my sister’s ukulele but I’ve really enjoyed borrowing it from her and having a little strum diddleeum! At the moment I can only play Riptide but I’m learning, don’t worry!

Lots of Love Lottie Blog Dried Mango

Mmmmmm I love mango anyway but when it’s easy to take with me I love it even more! I got this from Grape Tree in one off their promotional deals and I think it was actually pretty cheap! When you first look at the mango it does look a bit strange but I promise it tastes good.

Lots of Love Lottie Blog UO Shorts 1

Lots of Love Lottie Blog UO Shorts 2

These were my first ever Urban Outfitters purchase! These shorts were originally £25 but I had a 20% off voucher which took them down to £20. I thought that was a pretty good price for ANYTHING from UO! And these are comfy so it’s a win-win situation really 🙂

ThatsHeart is one of the CUTEST Youtubers out there. Whether it’s her girly pink bedroom, her cute little dog Junior or her current trip to Maui (I’m so jealous) I will ALWAYS watch Heart’s videos. Let alone the cute content but the camera and editing quality is amazing and I love how she’s not embarrassed in sharing the little things with her viewers. Here’s her Youtube and Twitter.

Music ♫

Got To Be Real – Mary J. Bilge

Get It Together – India Arie

Hope you enjoyed today’s post! What have you been loving this month?

Lottie’s Life: Drinking Tea!

Hey everyone! Not much as happened this week so when all else fails, what should we result to? Tea. Always! I’ve been really loving this Pukka Peppermint and Licorice Tea at the moment. I don’t really like ‘real’ tea, I find it quite bland and boring. And coffee is too strong and bitter for me so I settle in the middle for herbal teas! I love the Teapigs Peppermint and Licorice Tea but it’s sooooo expensive, I can’t really afford to drink it every night! Plus how cute is my teapot from Sainsbury’s? And it matches my Starbies mug! Life is now complete people!

Lots of Love Lottie Blog Lotties Life Tea

I also love fruity teas such as Twinings Mango and Cinnamon or Mango and Strawberry! Actually, I think I love all teas as I love green tea as well. To be honest I don’t think you find many teens who blog about tea, but I guess it’s better than me getting horrible teeth on Sprite and all that weird stuff. But let’s be real, no one can resist a cold glass of Robinson’s Orange Squash!

What are your favourite teas? I need your recommendations so I can try more!

Lots of Love,

Lottie ♥

1 Tee: 3 Spring Outfits

Yes peeps, it’s that time of year again. I’m especially excited for this post, as there are lots of lovely spring-y colours and flowers and all over beautiful-ness. If you are not familiar with this particular series on ze blog, let me explain. So back in August/September I bought this fantastic tee from Topshop for £10. It is such a versatile cropped white box tee that I create 3 outfits for it each season. So far I’ve done Autumn (Fall) and Winter. And as it’s Spring I thought it would be optimistically fun to NOT WEAR TIGHTS. What you do not see in the photos below is ME FREEZING MY HAIR OFF. Can you imagine that? Ew. Let’s move on.

Yay for Spring! Hope you enjoyed that. The last few photos were taken at the garden centre and we did get some strange looks, but it was fine because the flowers look pretty 🙂 Again if you haven’t read my other two Topshop tee posts then here is the Autumn one and here is the Winter one.

Do you have a staple piece in your wardrobe? Tell me about it!

Love, Tanya: Book Review

Lots of Love Lottie Blog Tanya Burr B

Lots of Love Lottie Blog Tanya Burr C

Lots of Love Lottie Blog Tanya Burr DYeah, I know. Bit late to the party, aren’t I? But I only got the book for my birthday, give me a minute! Tanya Burr: Internet sensation, fashion icon, millions of fans. And yet this book, sounds like she’s writing a personal letter to you. She shows you she had a quaint British childhood, her passions for baking and beauty and so much more. Tan shares a lot, when reading through the LIFE section, I found out so much more about this lovely Youtuber. A lot of my friends think that Tan is quite fake on her Youtube channel (and sometimes I agree) but you see a different side in her book, the real side if you may. My favourite section is obviously the baking, and she’s done a really good job with the photos she took. This is a great book if you want to flip in and out of it when you want, it’s not very serious and is a ‘light-read’ kind. I had read through most of it in a weekend. But when you read little bits again, it’s really interesting to see what bits you may have passed over. This book is definitely for teens to young adults and I would reccommend it pretty much anyone. The only downside to this book is that it seems to have been written very quickly and hastily so I’m sure if Tanya had longer this would be a better quality. Overall, it’s a really lovely book, you can get it for £6.49 on Amazon here.

Well, hope you enjoyed that post. I quite enjoy writing book reviews, will have to do it again sometime! Anyway if you guys have read Fleur de Force’s Glam Guide, would you mind letting me know if you enjoyed it or not? I’m thinking of buying it, but I’m not sure yet.

Have you read Love, Tanya yet? What did you think

Lots of Love,

Lottie ♥

It is today, so remember to keep an eye on my Twitter and Instagram for photos later on! My mum made these colourful butter cream cakes (yes, she so got that idea from the Great Comic Relief Bake Off) and they look pretty cool! And the cherries are red noses, you get it? Red noses? What I Got for My Birthday 2015

Well heyyyy Internet friends! How ya doin? It’s kind of crazy how excited I am for Spring, I can’t wait for it to be ok to eat Mini Eggs 24/7. I had a lovely lovely lovely birthday on Thursday, we went out for a Chinese for dinner. Thinking about it now, it probably wasn’t such a good idea for a veggie. All well! Then on Friday I had friends round and we went bowling (which I totally won at, NOT) and cooked homemade pizzas. It’s the simple things like rolling out pizza dough with friends that I find really fun!

Anyway, let’s move on to what I received for ma burfday. As always, I’m not showing off blah di blah and I compressed this post down compared to my What I Got For Christmas so sorry if your present isn’t shown, family and friends, it’s just this post would get prettyyy boring and long! I still love every single prezzie I got 🙂

Lots of Love Lottie Blog Birthday Anchor Earrings

These earrings are from my sister and purchased at a local jewellers, but I’m sure you can find similar anchors elsewhere!

Lots of Love Lottie Blog Birthday Bikini Johnnie B

This gorgeous bikini is from my lovely Grandma and is from Johhnie B. Their bikinis are always good quality but beware that they can come up small, designed for tanned slim beach goddesses like yours truly, obvs.

Lots of Love Lottie Blog Birthday Books

The top book is Chocolate-Covered Katie recipe book, which has lots of healthy desserts and breakfasts in it, written by the foodie blogger Katie herself. Love, Tanya is written by Tanya Burr and is a good flick-in-whenever-you-want sort of book. Deliciously Ella is written by a lovely blogger who goes by the same name. This book is very very healthy but her sweet potato brownies do look intriguing! And Green & Black’s Chocolate Recipes will make you DROOL with their choc-notch (get it? haha) recipes.

Lots of Love Lottie Blog Birthday Calendar

Lots of Love Lottie Blog Birthday Calendar 1

Lots of Love Lottie Blog Birthday Calendar 2

My parents got me this advent calendar. Yes, it is from Christmas, but it still means I get 24 mini Ciaté nail polishes! Including the gorgeous colour above called ‘amazing grace’ which to me looks like a dupe for Essie’s Fiji. Yay!

Lots of Love Lottie Blog Birthday Felt Tips

Anyone who buys me colourful pens I will love forever. Nothing else to say apart from, if someone buys you Crayola, never let go of them. EVER.

Lots of Love Lottie Blog Birthday Sand in a Bottle

My aunt and uncle got this bottle filled with sand from my favourites beach Sandbanks in Dorset. I think it’s such a cute and easy gift, thank you very much!

Lots of Love Lottie Blog Birthday Miranda and Bird

The Miranda DVD is from my sister’s Godparents and I cannot WAIT to watch it! The little bird is from  one of my best friends and I was so touched when she gave this to me with a cute little message.

Lots of Love Lottie Blog Birthday China Box

My parents gave me this adorable box filled of stuff to take to China with me! Yes, they got me porridge. But everything is so cute, merci mamma et papa!

And that’s a wrap! I am so so so SO grateful for all my lovely gifts, I couldn’t ask for better friends and family. Ok soppy moment over, have a great weekend everyone!

When’s your birthday? Tell me so I remember to wish you a good ‘un!

Lots of Love,

Lottie’s Life: The World on My Wrist and Being Veggie!

IT’S MY BIRTHDAY WOOP WOOP! I’M WAYYYY TOO EXCITED! Let’s try that again…hey everyone! Sending you guys lots of lovely warm hugs as it’s sooooo cold outside. I came in from a dog walk and I’m not even joking I was finding it hard to write. So, as you do, I left my Biology on the side for a minute while I wrote a blog post to ‘warm up my fingers’ (yes, Sneaky is my middle name). But, back to you, how are we all? Wishing you were in some tropical paradise? Yep, me too, me too.

Lots of Love Lottie Blog Lotties Life Week 9 Watch 1

Lots of Love Lottie Blog Lotties Life Week 9 Watch 2

I saw this watch in one of the lovely Aly’s posts (she’s a blogger at aleelily.blogspot.co.uk and she’s fab, check her out!) I fell in love with the watch instantly and had to order it! I didn’t order the one she ordered which look clear and outlined and mine is slightly more blurry but I still think it’s cute. And only £1.18! Did you notice the title? Who remembers that hymn from primary school He’s got the whole world in His hands…

It took almost 2 weeks to arrive and I’ve been wearing it nearly everyday for a few weeks now AND IT HASN’T EXPLODED! I always get the feeling when ordering something cheaply on eBay from a huge Asian company that it’s going to break within a few hours, but this watch has held up well!

I totally forgot to tell you lovely peeps that I’ve gone vegetarian for Lent! I wanted to challenge myself as I usually do something like chocolate. So far, so good! I’ve found loads of bean and lentil curries that are making me drool! I was inspired by my friend who is ‘full time’ veggie and I thought if she can do it then I can do it for a mere 46 days! She’s also going to China with me I don’t know how she’s not going to be tempted by the amazing dishes out there!

So not much on this week, obviously apart FROM MY BIRTHDAY TODAY (have I mentioned that already?). But I want to know what YOU guys have been up to this week, I love connecting with my readers. Let me know in the comments! See ya…

Lots of Love,

Lottie ♥

February Favourites 2015

Ooooo the birds are chirping, the daffodils are sat next to me and Mini Eggs are on sale… Spring must be on it’s way! And it’s only 3 DAYS TIL MY BIRTHDAY (just in case you didn’t know). I’m in such a good mood! Such a good mood, that I’m not going to let you read any more waffle. Horrah!

I got these jeans from a huge Boden sale for only £10! They’re from the Johnnie B range and they feel like such good quality, a bit like Topshop super stretch jeans. And how cute is the anchor pattern?!

Lots of Love Lottie Blog Feb Favs Pukka 1

Lots of Love Lottie Blog Feb Favs Pukka 2

Lots of Love Lottie Blog Feb Favs Pukka 3

This tea is a great dupe for the Teapigs Peppermint and Licorice tea, except cheaper. It’s not quite as sweet and you do have to wait an agonising 5 minutes for it to brew. But it’s well worth it in the end! So if you’ve heard great things about the Teapigs tea but don’t want to fork out £5 for it, this is a great alternative.

Lots of Love Lottie Blog Feb Favs Jack Wills Mist

I love this Jack Wills Hope Cove Body Mist! I got this mist, along with two others, in a gift set for Christmas and this is definitely my favourite one. It’s quite ‘teenagery-slash-young-adulty’ but still smells pretty darn good.

Lots of Love Lottie Blog Feb Favs Bear Slippers

They’re fluffy, bear slippers in the sale at Sainsburys. Do I need to say much more?

Lots of Love Lottie Blog Feb Favs Daffodils 1

Lots of Love Lottie Blog Feb Favs Daffodils 2

I love having fresh flowers around, especially when they’re £1 a bunch! Daffodils are definitely making me excited for Spring, so lovely and bright! What are your favourite Spring flowers?

Well that’s it for today’s post, you lovely lot. But here’s a clue for next week’s post…has something to do with BIRTHDAYS and HAUL? Can ya guess? Let’s hope I can get the photos taken in the 3 days after my birthday :/

Lots of Love,

Lottie ♥
